Dear Fiction Reader,
We’ve been at this for 3 months now and we’ve only got 3 months to go before 2025. So, I thought for our halfway mark I would take a look at “some numbers” because, I love a good spreadsheet and calculation and I think what we’ve uncovered in the fiction community is quite impressive. Let’s take a look:
Of the 259 stories featured across 12 weekly issues and 3 monthly recaps, they were written by 186 different people! That’s nearly 200 different Substack fiction writers who were featured on TiF in just 3 months! Wow!
Short stories and serials overwhelmingly dominate the types of stories that can be found.
Don’t count out Micro/Flash Fiction or Poetry! I hope to uncover more of them as we head into the next 3 months.
If you want to know why I’m tracking all of this, you’ll find out on the next issue coming out October 7th! Or if you subscribe to
’s TaleStack News! 😏 Till then, happy writing, and as always, HAPPY READING!MICRO/FLASH FICTION
