Hello fellow readers of fiction! It’s crazy for me to think about how far we’ve come. And also to reflect on how much I love this job that I’ve been entrusted with. Getting to find new fiction writers and then share their work with new readers looking for fiction. Word of mouth has been tremendous. It’s the single reason why we will undoubtedly surpass 500 subscribers well before the new year.
As always, I like to use this limited space down here to bring you the latest news happening in and around TiF. This week, I want to introduce a new CATEGORY! Welcome in Comic/Cartoon! Lately I’ve been absorbing so much great art and illustrations coming out of Substack, but many of them tell a story as well and go far beyond just one drawing. And so, when I see/read something that catches my eye, I want to make sure that form of storytelling gets recognized here as well! If you know anyone out there in the wild who’s doing some great storytelling through the visual space, please be sure to tell them about us and to share their work on our Friday posts!
I want to also mention the TiF Annual Recap of 2024 that’s coming January 15th. It’s a HUGE challenge I’ve given myself to put something of this size and scope together. I already foresee that it’s going to include nearly 500 stories, written by over 200+ writers found here on Substack. Each of them toiling away all of 2024 to bring us some amazing fiction. I stand in awe of it all. But, the only way this massive list can come together is if everyone who’s been in a past issue (including today’s) fill out the form! This helps me immensely! The less copy/paste and link searching I have to do, the better! Plus, who else but you would know which of the stories you wrote in 2024 was the best? So, if you haven’t already, please go ahead and submit your one favorite/best story of 2024. The sooner I get your answer, the better! I hope we all don’t wait till 12/15 to fill out the form! And if you want, put your story in the comments section so anyone who happens upon this post can find your work as well!
Lastly, there is a very important POLL in this below link as well! It’s where all of you get to vote on the next medallion color going into 2025! And it will be used for those who will be in the TiF Annual Recap of 2024. So, if you haven’t cast your vote, please do so. This POLL is open to everyone!

We’ll be back next Monday for another amazing list of fiction stories worth reading! And if you enjoyed any of these stories, please consider sharing this post everywhere:
Oh, wow, thank you Erica! My wish to be in that selection has come true with The Wish! I’m over the moon 😊
Yay thank you for the mention!
